Taking a closer look at the facts

Numbers are facts. Or are they?

Searching for a life quote to give to my clients I found one from Woody Allen I liked.

Ninety percent of life is just showing up.

True for me. Rang a bell. It hit home. And as with anything, I wanted to be sure about the facts before putting it in writing and giving it to my customers. Sure enough. I found "the same" quote from Woody Allen only it wasn't 90%. It was 70% and 80%. In addition, the wording is different as well. So what do I do? Where does one go to get the real quote?

I visited my favorite source for truth: www.snopes.com. I asked them to investigate the matter. I anxiously await their feedback. In the meantime, here is what I found on the three sites I visited.
